Christine Killian knocked it out of the park during her voiceover demo session at Winterland Studios in Minneapolis. One of the UVT coaches, Garnet Williams, directed the session and did a fantastic job. Christine recorded a commercial and eLearning demo. She is headed back in a few weeks to record a video game character demo. Our team has coached Christine for almost a year, and she is versatile with a lot of range. She takes direction well and has a bright future in voiceovers.
Christine has studied performance extensively. She earned a MM in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota and a BM in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University. Throughout her studies, she sang and performed roles such as la Contessa in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, the Rooster in Janacek’s The Cunning Little Vixen, Marenka (cover) in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride, and more. Additionally, she has sung roles with Skylark Opera, trained as a Studio Artist with Mill City Summer Opera, and performed as a member of the Minnesota Opera chorus. In Germany, she performed with Passagio Oper as well as Hamburg Opera on Tap.
Congratulations Christine! Cheers to your voice acting future!
