What Would You Like to Know?
When you sign up for either the Big or Junior Kahuna program, you will be sent a welcome email with a syllabus. This includes descriptions of all topics covered as well as a way to keep track of your sessions. You can also see a basic curriculum outline of our Big Kahuna program on our Coaching Programs page.
Our 1-on-1 sessions are 45-60 minutes in length.
Coaching sessions will be held via Zoom. Before each session, your coach will reach out to you by email about 15-30 minutes beforehand with a Zoom link. If it's a script performance session, you'll also receive a couple of voiceover scripts.
We use Square calendar for our coaching appointments. All students are responsible for making their own appointments with a coach. After requesting an appointment, the coach will either confirm the time or suggest changes. Once you receive confirmation, be sure to check any notes your coach has included. They may give you an assignment to help you prepare for your session.
If you can’t find a day/time that works with your schedule, please contact us and we’ll make arrangements. We’re flexible and will work with you as best we can!

We're very flexible! You do not have to schedule your sessions at the same day and time every week. You can cancel and submit a request to reschedule your coaching session. We do appreciate 24 hours notice for cancellations and reschedules!
Absolutely! Please use e-mail and be respectful of business hours. Do not text or send Facebook messages except at your coach’s request. Allow at least 24 hours for a response.
Our courses are customized for each student, and we strongly believe in working with you at your own pace! That being said, you can typically expect:
The Big Kahuna: 4-6 months
The Junior Kahuna: 2-4 months
The Virtual VO Lab membership is ongoing
Use the coaching calendar to schedule both the demo prep and recording sessions. It's most effective to book the prep first and then the recording session a few days later. This way, you're still fresh and rehearsed for the recording!
I create all original content for your demos. When you're ready for your demos, we'll send you a content form to fill out. After you've completed and submitted the form, I will begin working on it. It usually takes 1-2 weeks to finish the scripts. Your scripts will never be used on anyone else's demo.
Whether you record from home or at an offsite studio, your coach will direct the session live via zoom, phone patch or whatever the studio is comfortable using. Bring your scripts, dress comfortably and try to arrive a few minutes early. Once the engineer has you all set up, your coach will call in to begin the session.
We want your demo to be perfect! After we receive the files from the recording studio, the production process usually takes 3-4 weeks. Our motto is that quality can’t be rushed! It is possible that a student may need more coaching before being ready to record a demo. Quality can’t be rushed and we want your demo to sound fabulous! We won’t waste your money by producing a demo that doesn’t sound professional. If you need a significant number of additional coaching sessions, Terry will talk with you about pricing and the best options for you.
We sure do! We have the Affirm, Klarna, and AfterPay options at checkout. These are well-known "buy now-pay later" programs. They have helped many students!
You've had the basic training, you've got the website, and you're the proud owner of a fabulous demo. Make sure you don't let it sit idly on your computer! Now is the time to market yourself, submit to agencies, and begin auditioning. Now is the time to apply everything you've learned from all of those marketing sessions and launch your new business! Remember that we're your mentors, and we're here to help you through this process as well. Get out there and achieve something incredible!
