BRAVER ANGELS — NONPARTISAN POLITICAL PSA
$550 | Deadline: October 28
PROJECT DETAILS
Rate: $550
Audition Deadline: Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 7 PM CDT
Voice Type: Male or Female, Adult
Recording: Remote / Home Studio
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We've got another political voiceover project in development, and this one is NOT an attack ad! The concept is inspired by the mission of Braver Angels, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing Americans together across political differences.
We're looking for a voice actor who can deliver a sincere, thoughtful, and believable performance. No booming political announcer voices. No dramatic speeches. And nobody needs to sound like they're running for president! Think authentic, conversational, warm, and hopeful.
AUDITION SCRIPT
Performance Direction: Thoughtful, sincere, conversational, and hopeful. Build naturally toward the final message without becoming overly dramatic or preachy.
Somewhere along the way, we started treating people who disagree with us like they're the enemy.
But behind every opinion is a person. A neighbor. A friend. Someone who wants a better future, just like you.
We don't have to agree on everything to treat each other with respect.
Sometimes, finding common ground starts with something surprisingly simple.
Listening.
Braver Angels. Bringing Americans together, one conversation at a time.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Up to TWO takes on one MP3 file.
Natural, authentic, conversational delivery.
Clean, professional-quality audio.
Filename: YOURNAME-POLITICAL-PSA
A professional political voiceover demo is strongly encouraged but NOT mandatory.
Please submit your audition using the submission form on this page.
VIDEO GAME DEVELOPER PITCH
$400 per role | Deadline: October 30
RATE: $400 PER ROLE
DEADLINE: Friday, October 30, 2026, at 1 PM CDT
ROLES AVAILABLE: Three characters
PROJECT TYPE: Paid Video Game Developer Presentation
PROJECT OVERVIEW
We're working with a client who is preparing a video game concept presentation to pitch to a developer.
The client wants more than someone who can simply create different voices. Strong acting instincts, believable performances, personality, emotional range, and excellent comedic timing are especially important.
You can audition for one, two, or all three roles! One actor may be selected for multiple characters.
This is a paid voiceover opportunity for a developer presentation, not a casting announcement for a completed or officially greenlit video game.
CHARACTER #1: THE BLACK-MARKET DEALER
Character Description: A slick, street-smart underground merchant who can sell just about anything. Charming when necessary, sarcastic by nature, and completely untrustworthy.
Performance Direction: Smooth, charismatic, sarcastic, and just a little shady. Think fast-talking hustler with a dangerous streak.
AUDITION SCRIPT:
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Easy with the weapon, friend! You want information? I got information. You want weapons? I got weapons. You want a refund? Ha! Now THAT'S funny. Nobody gets a refund down here."
CHARACTER #2: THE MEMORY KEEPER
Character Description: An enigmatic figure who has witnessed centuries of history. Possessing knowledge others have long forgotten, this character carries an enormous emotional burden.
Performance Direction: Mysterious, thoughtful, and emotionally layered. Subtle, intimate delivery with an underlying sadness.
AUDITION SCRIPT:
"I remember this place before the darkness came. There were children playing in those streets. Music in every window. Now listen. Nothing. Even the ghosts have stopped speaking."
CHARACTER #3: THE ROYAL DISASTER COORDINATOR
Character Description: An eccentric, high-strung royal official responsible for managing every crisis in the kingdom. Unfortunately, the kingdom seems to experience a new catastrophe every fifteen minutes.
Performance Direction: Highly animated, neurotic, theatrical, and hilariously overwhelmed. Strong comedic timing and escalating panic.
AUDITION SCRIPT:
"Okay! Nobody panic! Yes, the castle is on fire. Yes, the dragon has escaped. And yes, somebody apparently poisoned the royal soup! But other than those three minor inconveniences, I'd say we're having a WONDERFUL Tuesday!"
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Audition for one, two, or all three characters.
If auditioning for multiple roles, put ALL auditions on ONE MP3 file.
Filename: YOURNAME-VIDEOGAME-PITCH.mp3
Record clean, professional-quality audio without music or sound effects.
Avoid excessive compression, reverb, or other heavy processing.
The client will review auditions and make the final casting decisions.
A QUICK WORD ABOUT DEMOS
A professionally produced video game or character demo is strongly encouraged but NOT required.
Your audition shows what you can do with a particular script. Your demo gives the client a much broader picture of your acting ability, versatility, and character range.
Please submit your audition using the submission form on this page.
DEADLINE: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 30, AT 1 PM CDT
Remember, don't just change your pitch or slap on an accent. Make these characters believable!
KEEP IT CLEAN, CRITTERS! $400 per role | Deadline: November 6
RATE: $400 PER ROLE
DEADLINE: Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5 PM CST
ROLES AVAILABLE: Three Puppet-Style Characters
PROJECT TYPE: Regional Environmental Public Service Announcement
PROJECT OVERVIEW
We're casting three unique character voices for a regional public service announcement promoting recycling, litter prevention, and keeping our parks, lakes, and communities clean.
The project features three lovable but slightly dysfunctional woodland creatures with BIG personalities and plenty of opinions!
We're looking for talented voice actors with strong comedic timing, creative instincts, and the ability to bring these puppet-style characters to life.
Remember, we're looking for great ACTING, not just funny voices!
🦝 CHARACTER #1: RASCAL THE RACCOON
Male | Character Age: 25–50
Sarcastic, mischievous, fast-talking, and convinced he's the smartest animal in the forest. Unfortunately, he's usually wrong!
Performance Direction: Playful, witty, conversational, and a little cocky. Strong comedic timing without sounding overly cartoonish.
AUDITION SCRIPT:
"Whoa, whoa, WHOA! Somebody threw an entire bag of garbage in my forest? Excuse me! I'm a raccoon! Digging through trash is MY department! But seriously, people. There are garbage cans literally twenty feet away. Even I know better than that. Usually."
🐻 CHARACTER #2: BENNY THE BEAR
Male | Character Age: 35–65
A lovable, slightly grumpy bear with a warm heart, a dry sense of humor, and absolutely no patience for nonsense. Especially Rascal's!
Performance Direction: Medium-low to deep voice, warm, grounded, and slightly irritated. Natural sarcasm and subtle comedic timing.
AUDITION SCRIPT:
"You know what really gets under my fur? Litterbugs. I spend half my day trying to keep this forest clean, and somebody tosses a soda can into the bushes. Come on, folks! We're bears, not your personal cleaning crew. Although, between you and me, Rascal could use a bath."
🐿️ CHARACTER #3: PIP THE SQUIRREL
Female | Character Age: 18–40
Hyperactive, enthusiastic, emotional, and completely unpredictable. Imagine a tiny squirrel who's had seventeen cups of espresso!
Performance Direction: Bright, youthful, high-energy, and slightly frantic. Quick emotional shifts and great comedic instincts. Personality is more important than pitch!
AUDITION SCRIPT:
"Okay, everybody! Emergency forest meeting! Somebody left plastic bottles by the lake, there's garbage near my favorite tree, and I just found a candy wrapper in my ACORN COLLECTION! Do you have ANY idea how long it took me to organize those acorns?! Sorry. Deep breaths, Pip. Deep breaths."
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
You may audition for one, two, or all three characters.
Maximum of TWO takes per character.
Submit clean, professional MP3 audio.
No music, sound effects, or heavy processing.
Creative interpretations are encouraged!
Professional animation or character demos are requested but NOT mandatory.
IMPORTANT: FILE LABELING & SLATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please submit ALL your character auditions in ONE MP3 file.
If auditioning for multiple roles, record the character reads consecutively in the same file.
Before each character read, verbally slate the character's name. For example, say "Rascal the Raccoon" before beginning Rascal's audition, then "Benny the Bear" before Benny's.
If submitting two takes for a character, please identify them as Take 1 and Take 2.
FILE NAMING FORMAT: NAME-CHARACTER.mp3
Examples:
TerryDaniel-Rascal.mp3
TerryDaniel-Rascal-Benny.mp3
TerryDaniel-Rascal-Benny-Pip.mp3
IMPORTANT: Please do not submit separate audio files for each character. One audition file per actor, regardless of how many characters you're reading for.
PROFESSIONAL DEMO NOTE
The client has requested professional animation or character demos whenever available. Although not mandatory, we strongly encourage you to include yours!
